  • New capabilities include:

  • Trauma surgery planning, including locking plates and plate-blending
  • 3D templating using CT images
  • Nuffield Hospitals (UK) selects TraumaCad for 40-hospital installation.

  • Large institutions install TraumaCad:
  • OrthoCarolina (Charlotte, NC), with more than 75 surgeons
  • Fletcher-Allen Healthcare
  • Template support grows to 12 manufacturers and more than 15,000 templates.

  • Baltimore Limb Deformity Course:
  • TraumaCad Version 2.0 selected for teaching the hundreds of surgeons who attend the course

  • TraumaCad Version 1.5 released, with new features:

  • FDA 510-K clearance received for TraumaCad.
  • 8 PACS companies now offer TraumaCad: WebMD, Orex, UltraRad, Viztek,iCRco, Vepro, MTS, and Dynamic Imaging.
  • Deformity Correction Planning introduced.
April
  • Orthocrat founded by Zeev Glozman, Dr. Doron Norman, and Meron Liram.
  • Founding mission was to allow busy orthopedic surgeons to accurately perform pre-surgical templating using digital X-ray images.
November
  • TraumaCad Version 1.3 released.
  • Digital templates from Biomet, DePuy, Smith & Nephew, Stryker, and Zimmer supported.
